Avinash tells Sanika that his friend Shrikant has suggested that they should buy a four wheeler for tax saving. Sanika agrees. Salil calls up Sanika and asks her to come and meet in the evening. Sanika and Avantika come home to meet Salil. Salil tells them that Arvind is upset because his new book is not getting printed. He tells them that Anirudh suggested that they start a publishing house for him. He also says that they should print Arvind's book and gift it to him on his birthday. Sanika too says that Arvind will surely want to invest in the project. Geeta tells Ram that she has told Avantika about Anish's new drinking habit. Geeta prays for Anish's wellbeing. Sanika speaks to Avinash about Salil's new project but Avinash refuses to help. Sanika feels hurt. Avantika tells Nikhil about Anish and his newly developed drinking habit. She also tells Nikhil that she thought over a lot and decided that she cannot marry him since his entire family will be unhappy with it, and she does not want to hurt anyone. Nikhil is shattered. Bhavana tells Nikhil that Mrinmayi has gone to Bangalore since her mother is unwell due to a kidney problem. Nikhil tells Dadasaheb about Avantika's decision. Dadasaheb is shocked. Nikhil tries to hide his emotions from her father, but fails.
